Tight Competition Will Recognize Stoner

Repsol Honda rider, Casey Stoner, was convinced the world title hunt this 2012 MotoGP season will be exciting and competitive. World champion in 2007 and 2011 this rate, he could not dominant as last season.

Last year, Stoner grabbed a second world title in too easily. In his debut with Team Honda, this Australian rider to win 10 races, and always on the podium, except in Jerez as he had an accident due to the brushed-and Valentino Rossi took pole position 12 times.

Then, at the official trials of pre-season 2012, Stoner also showed that he was still the strongest candidate to retain the title. Of the five-day test, Stoner became the top four times. However, the annoying rain on the second day of testing at Jerez made him fail to be the fastest.

Well, capitalize ciamik performance during these winter tests, Stoner is optimistic to welcome the new MotoGP season 2012. Nevertheless, he hopes will be more riders who become competitors in each series.

"After the pre-season tests are good, both in Sepang and Jerez, we looked at Qatar with a positive sense," said Stoner, the status of the father of one child.

"I am pleased that the new season starts and fight with another rider for the World Championships. However, this is a new season, and many competitive contestants to win this year."

About his chances in the first series in Qatar on 8 April, Stoner did not want to talk about victory, even though he was a four-time winner of the last five seasons. He admitted that his team still have work to improve setting new 1000 cc motorcycle as long as the trial is still felt a strong vibration.

"We still have work to do," he explained. "We have always enjoyed good results at Losail Circuit, but this will be the first to climb the new motor in this circuit, so we need to spend more time to setup in order to be in the best position.
